Quincy is situated in the southeastern part of Branch County, and it’s known for its small-town charm combined with a variety of outdoor and cultural activities. One of the standout features of Quincy is Marble Lake, a sizable body of water ideal for fishing, boating, and water sports. The lake is part of the Marble Chain of Lakes, which also includes Marble Lake Park, a popular destination for picnicking and nature walks. Additionally, the Quincy Historic District offers a glimpse into the town’s past, showcasing well-preserved 19th-century architecture. The Quincy Chain-O-Lakes area, in particular, attracts outdoor enthusiasts year-round. In the winter, the lake area transforms into a hub for ice fishing and snowmobiling. As for transportation, U.S. Route 12 (also known locally as Chicago Street) runs through the town, connecting Quincy to Coldwater to the west and the state of Ohio to the east. In terms of education, the Quincy Community Schools district serves the area, making it family-friendly.
