Springfield is a city that lies on the northeastern edge of Battle Creek in Calhoun County. It is crossed by two major roads: Goguac Street (also known as Business Loop I-94) and Dickman Road, which link Springfield to Battle Creek and Fort Custer to the west. One of the city’s prominent landmarks is Begg Park, a scenic area that features a creek, walking paths, and a playground. Located adjacent to the park is the Springfield Farmers Market, a popular spot for both locals and visitors to purchase fresh produce and handmade goods.
