Burr Oak is another St. Joseph County village, located further inland compared to White Pigeon. State Highway M-86 is the primary route that runs through the village, providing connectivity to nearby communities such as Sturgis and Colon. Burr Oak is best known for its scenic surroundings, including the 5-acre Burr Oak Park that features a playground, basketball courts, and picnic areas. The village is close to the larger Prairie River Lake, a hotspot for local anglers and boating enthusiasts.
